Was pleasantly surprised by the performance - whilst the flow is certainly less than our old shower head doesn't hinder performance or mean you haver to spend more time in the shower. Does make a bit more noise, too, but then its only a shower. One caveat - our water pressure is quite good.

Very fast delivery of this product which was pleasing. It was exactly what we ordered but not the same as the Eco one we had before. It works well but is quite noisy compared with our previous shower head. No problems though and I am sure that it is more eco than the last one.

Good quality product and gives a perfectly adequate shower. You do notice the difference in water volume on some settings on the shower head but it's easy to change to your preferred setting, would recommend this product.

At first we did not think it was as good as a normal head as the output seams lower; however after a couple of uses you get used to the level of flow and it does have the advantage of saving a lot of water!

tested mormal mira shower head (15.9l/min) mira eco (9.9l/min) eco camel (8.25l/min) Oxigenics (8.1l/min) nordic (6.0l/min). mira eco was best all round it looks nice which is good for hotel rooms and has 3 sprey patterns, it sounds nice not to noisy, the eco cammel came second it uses less water is quiet but for a hotell room looked/felt a bit cheep would be great in a home or in eg a hostel when it may be an advantage to have less moving parts. the oxigenics shower is very noisy and has a very narrow sprey the water spits out fast in fine droplets but i would say it seems to cool the water which is counter productive, you have to dodge around to keep coverd! on the plus it is very nicley made. the nordick is a waste of time it is like a hosepipe spreyer and not enough water volume to wash the soap off you. all in all i will buy a job lot of mira ecos. but eco camel to be fair was a very close second and used less water.

We are very pleased with the Mira Eco. We do have lots of pressure in our property though (~3.0bar). Our old shower was 13l/min, but with the Mira its now 6.8l/min, so nearly a 50% reduction in water usage. We dont feel like we have to stay in any longer to get the same shower as our old one. I like that it has three settings. They all feel slightly different. It does make a slight noise, but thats just it sucking in the air, and its really not at all bothersome.

The product was clearly defective as I was replacing an existing Eco shower head as the jets had split. This new one had such a poor flow that I couldn't use it and had to put the old one back on. A waste of 20 odd pounds.

Quite good but guess what, not really as good as the blurb would have you believe. Plus when connected ours leaked and when I rang Mira, the most unhelpful person there obviously thought I was some bimbo who didn't know what she was doing. Nul points, Mira. I have bought some waxed thread to rectify the problem. The shower head itself is OK but we do miss the power that the shower used to deliver, so end up staying a bit longer in the shower, which may negate the saving to some extent. Even if the waxed thread works I will probably go back to the old shower head as it was just a better experience.

This produce is a total waste of time if you have a power shower, you may as well take the head off with the amount of water it allows out. Support from Savewater not very helpfully.

Our standard Midra power shower was using 16.6 litres/min consuming we estimate using just over 18 cu meteres of water per year. the Eco shower head has cut this to just of 6 cu meters saving us over £52 per person per year in water and sewage charges! Its also eliminated or steaming up issue in the bathroom. And the shower is almost as good!

Easy, no fuss installation in 30 seconds. 3 Spray patterns are powerful, with consistent flow, and are easily adjustable during use. In operation, there is no vibration, however the product is more noisy than the standard head, it replaces, but the noise level is still acceptable. This product delivers a great saving of water, over a standard head, and I will continue to use it.

You do notice the drop in pressure. You probably do stay in the shower a bit longer to make sure you're properly rinsed.

Unfortunatley, whilst we could fit the attachment to the water pipe, it would not fit into the wall attachment and so we were unable to use it for showers. Which was a shame, as it appears it would have been better than our current shower head. There is no option to say that we did not fairly trail the product, so we have just given average scores.

The shower head was straightforward to fit-does not require any specialist knowledge. Once fitted, it gives a pleasant spray. It is not powerful, but this is a small price to pay for a water saving device. The compression valve is very effective, although it does cause the water passing through it to make a slight noise. Again, a small price to pay for conservation. Sadly it will not work with an electric shower. I am glad that I took part in this trial.

We have been using for over a week now and to be honest its not much different from our original head. Our shower is not pump operated so its not a powerful power shower and I wonder if this makes a difference to the performance of the Eco showerhead. Hopefully it will save some water but does not give us and "exhilerating experience" as suggested.

Excellent shower head,3 easy to use settings.Slightly louder than an ordinary head,but you soon get used to it.Very good looks and design,great feeling of getting wet without using as much water,tempted to stay in longer to enjoy the feeling , but i guess that would defeat thobject of having one!

I tested the Mira Showerhead for 1 week as suggested and found that it did in fact live up to expectations. The showerhead gives you a power shower without using the energy, and when I tested to see if the Mira used less water than my old model found that it did. Would I recommend the Mira definitely!

Very easy to install and use; the different spray settings are simple to select. With it being more water efficient I thought I'd notice a difference in the power but I was wrong, although my husband does think it's slightly weaker than our previous shower head.

WHEN I FIRST TURNED ON THE SHOWER I THOUGHT OH JUST ANOTHER SHOWER HEAD AND THEN I NOTICED THE SPRAY IT WAS PRODUCING,I SAID TO THE WIFE I THINK THIS IS USING MORE WATER NOT LESS, BUT ON CLOSER INSPECTION THE WATER DROPLETS WERE FULL OF AIR AND SEEMED TO EXPLODE WHEN THEY HIT YOUR BODY. I DID A SMALL TEST FIRST USING THE OLD HEAD TO FILL A HALF PINT JUG -- APPROX. 5 SECS. NOW USING MIRA HEAD ON SETTING 1 APPROX. 18 SECS. COULD NOT BELIEVE THE RESULTS. AN EXCELLENT SHOWER HEAD. HAVE TOLD ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT THIS TEST AND MY SON HAS JUST BOUGHT ONE FROM B&Q AND WITH HIM BEING ON A WATER METER IN THINKS ITS ONE OF THE BEST BUYS HE HAS MADE REGARDING SAVING WATER. I found this product to be excellent! I have a 'traditional' hot water system with a hot water tank, and 'reasonable' pressure to the shower head. The Eco shower head was a straight swap for my old mira shower head & it works perfectly, and is saving me a fortune !

The Mira Eco Shower Head will not work with all pumped systems, it will not work with my Aqualiser thermostatic pumped shower. I have spoken to Mira regarding this and they inform me that the Eco shower head has been designed for Mira Showers and will not work some othert systems.
