We’ve calculated every figure with as much information as we could lay our hands on, including:

• Average cost to supply and take away a litre of water in the Cambridge Water area = 0.12p per litre
• Average household occupancy in the Cambridge Water area = 2.42
• Average water consumption in the Cambridge Water area = 150 litres per day per person
